Procurement Officer / Media Buyer - Arabic Speaker

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our team in the media industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our procurement processes, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services necessary for our media operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of procurement best practices, excellent negotiation skills, and experience in the media industry. 🔷Key Responsibilities: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors. Maintain and develop relationships with key suppliers. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure advantageous terms. Manage the entire procurement process from requisition to delivery. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions. Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities. Implement cost control strategies and monitor expenditures. Prepare cost-benefit analyses and reports for management review. Ensure that purchased goods and services meet quality standards and specifications. Coordinate with internal departments to understand and meet their procurement needs. Conduct supplier performance evaluations and audits. Identify and mitigate risks associated with the procurement process. Develop and implement contingency plans for supply chain disruptions. Ensure ethical and sustainable procurement practices. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and transactions. Prepare regular reports on procurement status, spend analysis, and supplier performance. Ensure proper documentation of contracts, agreements, and purchase orders. Requirements Bachelor's degree. Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role, preferably in the media industry. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, policies, and best practices. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in procurement software, Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP System (preferred Oracle Fusion). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Familiarity with legal aspects of procurement and contract management. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CIPS). Experience with ERP systems. Understanding of media industry-specific procurement needs.
