Excellent lens for wildlife, safari, birding and other telephoto applications. I have used it for bird photography over the last 2 years and loved it. Letting go as I have upgraded to a semi-pro setup. The lens has perfect optical performance and has as-new sharpness and excellent autofocus performance. All AF and IS (image stabilization) functions work perfectly.
