Job Title: Barista Cashier Department: Food & Beverage / Café Reports To: Café Manager / Supervisor Location: AL WASL SATWA/dUBAI Job Summary The Barista Cashier is responsible for preparing and serving beverages and light food items, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and handling all cashier transactions efficiently and accurately. The role requires a high level of customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities ☕ Barista Duties Prepare hot and cold beverages such as coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks as per brand standards. Maintain knowledge of drink menus, ingredients, and brewing techniques. Operate coffee machines, blenders, and grinders safely and effectively. Ensure beverage presentation, taste, and temperature meet quality standards. Cashier Duties Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process cash, card, and digital payments. Issue receipts, handle returns/refunds as per company policy. Count cash drawer at beginning and end of shifts; reconcile discrepancies. ? Customer Service & Cleanliness Provide excellent customer service and resolve queries or complaints politely. Maintain a clean and organized work area including counters, machines, and tables. Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines at all times. Restock inventory such as cups, lids, napkins, and ingredients as required.
