Job Summary: The Crewing Officer is responsible for managing crew operations, ensuring vessels have qualified and compliant crew members. This includes crew scheduling, recruitment, documentation, and compliance with maritime regulations. Key Responsibilities: Crew Scheduling: Plan and arrange crew changes based on vessel requirements. Recruitment & Documentation: Assist in hiring, maintaining crew records, and ensuring all certifications are up to date. Compliance: Ensure crew meets regulatory and company requirements (e.g., STCW, MLC 2006, ISM). Crew Welfare: Support crew members with travel, medical needs, and general well-being. Administration: Maintain databases, process payroll inputs, and handle crew travel arrangements. Requirements Education: Diploma/Degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, or related field. Experience: 1–3 years in crewing, shipping, or related roles (fresh graduates may be considered). Skills: Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
