Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager – Conference & Exhibition to lead and manage the sales strategy for our events portfolio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating revenue through the sale of exhibition space, sponsorship packages, delegate passes, and other related services. This role requires strong business development skills, the ability to build lasting client relationships, and a proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets in the events industry. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute the sales strategy for conferences, exhibitions, and related events. Identify and target new business opportunities to grow revenue across sponsorship, exhibition, and delegate sales. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, sponsors, exhibitors, and stakeholders. Lead the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including negotiation and contract management. Collaborate with marketing, operations, and content teams to align sales strategy with event goals and timelines. Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and maintain a competitive edge. Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis to senior management. Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings. Manage and grow a sales team, providing coaching, training, and performance oversight. Recruiting Sales Executives Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in B2B event sales, specifically within conferences and exhibitions is added advantage. Proven ability to exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth. Strong knowledge of the events and exhibitions industry, including market trends and sales techniques. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and strong Microsoft Office skills. Desirable Attributes: Existing network within relevant industries (e.g., technology, healthcare, finance, etc.). Experience with international events and/or virtual and hybrid event formats. Ability to travel as required for events and client meetings.
