IT Technician

We are hiring an IT technician with previous experience in the UAE construction industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing IT systems, installing and maintaining CCTV, smart home devices, and site network infrastructure, and providing technical support to office and project site staff. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, access control, and smart home/automation devices for construction projects. Set up and maintain IT networks, servers, and Wi-Fi systems at office and project sites. Provide IT support for staff (hardware, software, printers, connectivity issues). Manage system backups, updates, and cybersecurity practices. Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues across multiple sites. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for equipment procurement and installation. Maintain proper documentation for all IT assets, installations, and support activities. Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and construction site safety standards. Requirements 3–5 years’ UAE experience in IT support, ideally within a construction or contracting company. Hands-on experience in CCTV installation, smart devices, and low-voltage systems. Knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN), servers, routers, and firewalls. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and support multiple construction sites. Good communication skills in English (Arabic/Hindi/Urdu are an advantage). A valid UAE driving license preferred.
