Description

Key Responsibilities Safely operate and drive company trucks with manual transmissions to transport goods to and from specified locations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle (e.g., checking oil, fuel, brakes, tires) to ensure it meets safety standards and report any defects or issues. Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is properly secured to prevent damage during transit. Maintain detailed and accurate electronic or paper logs of working hours, rest periods, and vehicle activities. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status, delays, or issues.
