Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head Cleaner/Manager to oversee and manage our cleaning team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting and maintaining high-quality cleaning standards across holiday home properties, while leading, training, and supervising a team of cleaners to deliver exceptional results. Key Responsibilities: Team Management: Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of cleaners, ensuring consistent performance and adherence to company standards. Training and Development: Train and mentor cleaners on proper cleaning techniques, efficient workflows, and safety protocols to maintain high-quality service and to maximise output. Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure all properties meet cleanliness and presentation standards. Scheduling and Coordination: Ensuring staff is available and ensuring timely completion of tasks across multiple properties. Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock and proper usage. Client Communication: Address client feedback and resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction. Compliance: Ensure all cleaning practices comply with health, safety, and industry regulations. Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience in holiday home, hotel, or Airbnb cleaning management. Proven experience as a manager or supervisor, leading and managing a team of cleaners or similar staff. Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a team. Excellent organisational and time-management abilities. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment suitable for high-end properties. Ability to train others and communicate expectations clearly. Problem-solving skills to address challenges efficiently. Attributes: Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Reliable, proactive, and able to work under pressure. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Excellent communication skills and well written and spoken english is a must. Experience with managing cleaning operations for multiple properties simultaneously.
