Position Overview
The Workshop Garage Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the garage, ensuring smooth workflow, high-quality service delivery, and strong customer satisfaction. The role requires leadership, technical oversight, customer service excellence, and the ability to achieve sales and performance targets.

Key Responsibilities
• Operational Management
• Supervise daily garage operations, ensuring punctuality and efficiency in service delivery.
• Manage job scheduling, workflow, and timely completion of repairs and services.
• Enforce quality control procedures to ensure all vehicles meet company standards before delivery.
• Customer Service & Relationship Management
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Provide estimates, approvals, and updates to customers in a clear and timely manner.
• Maintain a professional, customer-focused environment to build trust and repeat business.
• Team Management & Leadership
• Lead and motivate the technical team, ensuring adherence to safety and service standards.
• Resolve conflicts within the team and address performance issues proactively.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to technicians for continuous improvement.
• Sales & Business Development
• Work towards achieving monthly sales and revenue targets.
• Promote additional services and upselling opportunities to customers without compromising trust.
• Monitor workshop profitability and support management in meeting financial goals.
• Technology & Reporting
• Use CRM systems and Excel to maintain customer records, job progress, and reports.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports on productivity, sales, and customer satisfaction.
• Track parts, labor, and service efficiency to optimize workshop operations.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Automotive, Mechanical, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within an automotive workshop.
• Strong knowledge of workshop operations, vehicle maintenance, and repair processes.
• Proficiency in Excel, CRM systems, and general computer skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong customer service orientation.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and achieve sales and performance targets.
• Must be punctual, reliable, and disciplined.
