Mix paint colors according to manufacturer specifications and customer preferences. Operate spray-painting equipment or tools to apply paint evenly on vehicle surfaces. Inspect painted surfaces for quality assurance and rectify any inadequacies promptly. Maintain an inventory of painting supplies and reorder stock as necessary. Recognize and follow safety standards and protocols in the automotive paint process. Apply clear coats and sealants to protect painted surfaces against external damages. Clean equipment and maintain a tidy workspace to comply with workshop regulations. Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and client expectations. Stay updated on new painting techniques and products available in the market. Keep records of work completed and materials used for future reference and billing. Requirements Proven experience as an Automobile Painter in a similar setting or capacity. Comprehensive knowledge of automotive painting techniques and equipment use. Detail-oriented with a strong eye for color matching and finish quality. Familiarity with painting safety procedures and MSDS for handling materials. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively under strict deadlines. Good physical condition and the capability to stand for extended periods. Vocational training or apprenticeship in automotive painting is highly desirable.
