Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job Purpose: Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include tending furnace and boiler, performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning debris from sidewalk. Key Responsibilities: Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Gather and empty trash. Service, clean, and supply restrooms. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created. Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems. Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties. Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings. Spray insecticides and fumigants to prevent insect and rodent infestation. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment. Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications. Steam-clean or shampoo carpets. Cooperate with any compay efforts to improve health and safety at work. Comply with any reasonable instruction given to you in the interest of health and safety or welfare. Report and accidents, injuries or illnesses you may suffer as a result of doing your work, or any accidents, injuries or illnesses you become aware off that involves a fellow employee or member of the public at your place of work. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Desired Candidate Profile SKILLS REQUIRED: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Outstanding customer service skills. Proven ability to work effectively individually and with a team. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Qualifications: Secondary School Certificate Other Requirements: Good communication and coordination skills are essential. If a room is requested to be cleaned weekly, this will be paid extra. Communication & Reporting Share updates in WhatsApp when needed: ✅ Tasks completed Pending tasks (with timelines) ⚠️ Problems (with photos) Provide photo proof of clean rooms, repairs, and deliveries Always communicate clearly, politely, and professionally ⚠️ Important Note This role is about caring for the villa and its tenants as a property — not being a personal servant or “on-call maid” for the housemates.
