Description

We are seeking an experienced, child-centered Math Tutor to deliver engaging, one-on-one lessons to an 8-year-old student. The ideal candidate is warm, creative, and reliable—able to make math exciting while maintaining structure and academic rigor. This role requires a deep understanding of how young children learn and the ability to cultivate intrinsic motivation through curiosity-driven instruction. Key Responsibilities: Conduct daily math lessons in fluent English, tailored to the child’s learning style and developmental level. Design and implement a clear, long-term learning roadmap—guiding the student from foundational arithmetic through advanced elementary mathematics. Create engaging, playful, and conceptually rich lessons that foster intrinsic interest in math. Balance warmth and flexibility with structure and clear boundaries that promote a productive learning environment. Monitor academic progress and communicate it regularly in a way that reflects both qualitative growth and measurable mastery. Assign meaningful, interest-driven homework that reinforces learning without relying on pressure or external rewards. Required Qualifications: Proven experience teaching math to children around 8 years old. Fluency in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong understanding of child psychology and developmental learning needs. Demonstrated ability to cultivate sustained curiosity, motivation, and confidence in learners. Familiarity with elementary math curricula and educational standards. Ability to design and clearly articulate a structured learning plan across key math milestones. Preferred Attributes: Background in education, child development, or a related field. Experience teaching in progressive, inquiry-based learning environments. Creative, energetic, and skilled at balancing playfulness with respectful authority. Passion for making math joyful, meaningful, and confidence-building. Key Outcomes: The student feels curious, capable, and excited about learning math. Lessons are consistently engaging and tailored to the child’s interests and pace. Homework is completed consistently and voluntarily, fueled by genuine interest. The student demonstrates steady academic progress and visible mastery of core math concepts over time.

Procurement Engineer
We are looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Engineer to manage end-to-end procurement activities for school operations and facilities. You will be responsible for sourcing quality vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services aligned with educational and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the academic, facilities, and operations teams to identify procurement needs (school supplies, lab equipment, building materials, HVAC, IT hardware, AMC services). Prepare RFQs, evaluate vendor proposals, and execute cost-effective sourcing strategies. Review technical specs and ensure items/services meet MOE, KHDA, and safety compliance where required. Manage procurement of infrastructure, utilities, and civil/MEP support for school buildings and renovations. Maintain accurate procurement records, delivery logs, and supplier performance data. Coordinate with finance and stores for budgeting, POs, and inventory alignment. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality or timelines. Ensure vendor contracts, warranties, and AMCs are compliant, valid, and monitored. Qualifications: Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or similar) Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in procurement or FM in school, education, or facilities environments Knowledge of UAE/MENA local market vendors, suppliers, and regulatory codes preferred Strong negotiation, budgeting, and vendor management skills Familiarity with procurement software, ERP systems, and facility operations Preferred Skills: Strong organizational and time management abilities Understanding of school-specific needs like play areas, classrooms, buses, etc. Effective communication with multi-stakeholder teams (vendors, principals, FM heads)
