Glass Cutting Technician Responsibilities • Measure, mark, and cut glass accurately according to production orders and drawings. • Proficiently operate glass cutting machines, edge grinding machines, washing machines, and other related equipment. • Ensure smooth cutting surfaces, free of chipping, with precise dimensions. • Classify, label, and stack cut glass according to process requirements. • Perform daily cleaning, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of equipment, and report issues promptly. • Strictly follow safety operation procedures to prevent damage and workplace injuries. ⸻ Laminated Glass Technician Responsibilities • Carry out laminated glass processes (PVB, EVA, etc.), including loading, layout, pre-pressing, autoclaving, and unloading. • Be familiar with the lamination process flow and control key parameters such as temperature, pressure, and time. • Inspect laminated glass quality to prevent defects such as bubbles, delamination, or misalignment. • Analyze process issues during production and provide improvement suggestions. • Maintain cleanliness of the lamination room, equipment, and molds. • Ensure production efficiency and finished product quality while minimizing defect rates. ⸻ Insulating Glass Technician Responsibilities • Handle insulating glass processes such as layout, sealing, molecular sieve filling, and edge sealing. • Proficiently operate insulating glass production line equipment. • Strictly follow process requirements to ensure proper sealing and thermal insulation performance. • Inspect glass surfaces and cavity cleanliness to avoid dust and moisture contamination. • Ensure even sealant application and neat edges to prevent air leakage or sealant detachment. • Conduct regular equipment maintenance to ensure stable operation of the production line.
