I teach Python programming to graduate and postgraduate students in life sciences at the Weizmann Institute. Already in the last semester, it became clear that the current approach is not suitable. There's no point in giving them beginner assignments; they'll just copy them into Co-Pilot and get an answer. Probably, there's no point in teaching syntax. I must change my teaching method and incorporate tools like Co-Pilot. In this meeting, I will try out the new method. That is, in this experimental session, I will attempt to teach Python to people with no background in Python. There's a chance the session will last about 3 hours, but of course, one can always leave in the middle.
