Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our team in the media industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our procurement processes, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services necessary for our media operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of procurement best practices, excellent negotiation skills, and experience in the media industry. 🔷Key Responsibilities: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors. Maintain and develop relationships with key suppliers. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure advantageous terms. Manage the entire procurement process from requisition to delivery. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions. Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities. Implement cost control strategies and monitor expenditures. Prepare cost-benefit analyses and reports for management review. Ensure that purchased goods and services meet quality standards and specifications. Coordinate with internal departments to understand and meet their procurement needs. Conduct supplier performance evaluations and audits. Identify and mitigate risks associated with the procurement process. Develop and implement contingency plans for supply chain disruptions. Ensure ethical and sustainable procurement practices. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and transactions. Prepare regular reports on procurement status, spend analysis, and supplier performance. Ensure proper documentation of contracts, agreements, and purchase orders. Requirements Bachelor's degree. Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role, preferably in the media industry. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, policies, and best practices. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in procurement software, Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP System (preferred Oracle Fusion). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Familiarity with legal aspects of procurement and contract management. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CIPS). Experience with ERP systems. Understanding of media industry-specific procurement needs. Senior Procurement Analyst
Job Purpose This role is responsible for providing and performing procurement of critical and high value goods and services which include projects and strategic sourcing, consistent with ENOC policy and procedures in a cost effective and professional manner to protect Company interests. The job holder participates in supplier certification / pre-qualification and conduct techno-commercial analysis and participate in the development of systems and procedures towards addressing updated business need, simplification of work process, automation and process re-engineering. Principal Accountabilities Policy and Procedures: Make awareness of, and perform in accordance with the Company’s established purchasing policies and procedures. Participate and provide input to the review of existing or establishment of new procedures. Procurement Cycle: Handle complete procurement cycle for purchase orders and contracts (preparation, negotiation, follow-up, etc) with terms and conditions which afford the company the fullest protection possible. Screening of Bidders: Screen potential bidders and determine appropriate type of procurement. Market Research: Continually seek new sources of goods and services by monitoring local market developments to measure existing rates/cost and achieve uninterrupted supply of the desired goods and services.
