English Teacher (ESL) - Dubai

ESL (English as a Second Language) Teacher - Dubai Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified and passionate ESL teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing English language instruction to candidates whose mother tongue is not English. The ESL instructor will design and implement effective lessons that develop students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Responsibilities: ● Teaching English as second language to candidates of various ages and proficiency levels. ● Provide engaging and interactive instruction that supports candidates' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. ● Use a variety of teaching methods, material and technologies to accommodate candidates' learning styles and abilities. ● Assess candidate progress through regular quizzes, tests, and assignments. ● Provide constructive feedback to candidates to help them improve their language skills. ● Develop and implement effective lesson plans that meet the English language needs of candidates from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. ● Teaching IELTS, TOEFL, PTE and CELPIP, and OET. ● Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current on educational trends and research. ● Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations. No private or freelancing work is permitted. Requirements & Qualification: ● Bachelor's degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), linguistics, or education related field. ● Valid teaching certification or license such as CELTA, TESOL and TEFL. ● Minimum of two years of experience teaching English. ● Strong knowledge of English language acquisition theories and teaching strategies. ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ● Experience in teaching IELTS, PTE, TOEFL, CELPIP and OET. ● Knowledge of educational technologies, online tools and their integration into teaching. ● Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues. Benefits, Salary & working hours ● 8 hours a day and 6 days a week. ● 1 month paid vacation per year after completion of one year. ● Return ticket to home country after completion of 2 years. ● Standard medical insurance ● 5000 – 7000 Dhs per month ● Salary increment after performance appraisal. ● Public holidays as per UAE Law for the Private Sector. ● Training to be provided if necessary. ● Employment visa to be provided by the company.
