Mandatory: -Must be based in Dubai / Sharjah UAE -4 years+ working experience in UAE market either with System Integrator / OEMs The Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and supporting an Access Technology networks / switches. This includes local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and other network systems to ensure optimal performance and security. The role also involves troubleshooting network issues, upgrading hardware/software, and collaborating with IT teams to align network infrastructure with business objectives. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Wi-Fi Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, setting up, and managing public Wi-Fi services. You will work with principal vendors like Aruba, Antlabs, Aislelabs, Huawei, and Cisco Meraki, and possess technical certifications from these vendors. 1. Key Responsibilities *Design and Implementation -Plan, design, and deploy network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, etc.). -Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other network hardware. -Ensure network scalability to support future growth. -Design, implement, and manage public Wi-Fi services in various environments (urban, rural, enterprise, and commercial). -Conduct site surveys, network planning, and Wi-Fi network optimization. -Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in public Wi-Fi services and implement best practices. -Develop and maintain network documentation, including design plans, configurations, and maintenance procedures. *Monitoring and Maintenance -Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues. -Conduct routine maintenance to ensure network stability and efficiency. -Implement updates, patches, and upgrades for network hardware and software. -Perform network backups and disaster recovery planning. *Security Management -Implement and manage network security protocols, including firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. -Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments. -Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to address vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards. *Support and Troubleshooting -Provide technical support to internal teams and end-users. -Diagnose and resolve network problems quickly to minimize downtime. -Document network configurations, changes, and processes for future reference. -Work with IT and development teams to support business applications. 2. The role?  The Senior Project Engineer is a key role within an offshore crane maintenance service company, responsible for overseeing the technical and operational execution of projects related to the maintenance, repair, and upgrade of offshore cranes and lifting equipment. The role ensures project objectives are met on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards. The ideal candidate possesses strong engineering expertise, leadership skills, and in-depth knowledge of offshore crane systems and the oil and gas sector.  Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas Project Management:  Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of offshore crane maintenance projects.  Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and schedules in coordination with stakeholders.  Manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and reporting on financial performance.  Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.  Completion of purchase requisitions. Arrange equipment dispatch and transportation  Preparation of engineering invoice drafts and financial control of assigned projects  Provide support to Contract Representative / Company Lifting Team  Provide weekly report to client representatives for updated status of work carried out during the week.  Prepare and maintain annual critical spare parts lists for all the equipment offshore.  Follow up obsolete spare parts, check availability or equivalent and retrofit/upgrade/replacement of obsolete spares in concurrence with OEM.  Conduct offshore surveys and write work scope procedures for major maintenance, upgrades and modifications.   Identify & analyze reoccurring problems, breakdowns and malfunctions in order to perform effective remedial actions and trend reporting to minimize potential impacts on safety, environments and production operations.  Prepare Implementation Work Packs, including risk assessments, procedures and implementation project plans.  Focal point for major maintenance, co-ordination, report writings, troubleshooting, etc.  Co-ordinate and manage procurement and inspections/tests at subcontractor’s facilities for onshore refurbishments.  Prepare annual condition monitoring reports, for each piece of equipment which details laboratory based sampling analysis results for lubricant oils, greases, slew pinion wear, slew bearing bolt torque / pre-loading values, and slew bearing rocking motions.  Prepare close out reports and inspection reports for all onshore refurbishments 2 weeks after works completion.  Compile and prepare close out and inspection reports for all offshore and onshore refurbishment scopes.  Ensure that all maintenance and technical documentation is completed correctly, prepare regular work reports and specific technical reports when required and maintain record of all maintenance activities for easy access to any internal and external auditors and surveyors.  Carry out condition evaluation surveys and prepare reports for vessels, barges, rigs, etc. as designated by client.  Conduct offshore surveys for preparation of lifting plans and maintenance based work scopes.  Prepare lifting plans, method statements, detailed drawings and procedures for component installation, removal, etc.  Prepare risk assessments for complicated and complex lifting plans and procedures, method statements.  Equipment certification, availability & reliability tracking reporting.  Periodical visit to client Stores to physically inspect condition / preservation of critical spares.  Assist clients Crane & lifting Engineer in preparing study reports.   Root cause analysis of failed lifting equipment components.  Initiate Facility Change Requirements related to Lifting Equipment in consultation with OEM “as applicable” for clients review and approval.  Be available 24/7 for critical activities when delegated to cover the EnerMech Representative role.   Technical Leadership:  Provide technical guidance for maintenance, repairs, and modifications of offshore cranes and lifting equipment.  Develop and review engineering designs, calculations, and technical specifications.  Ensure compliance with industry standards, client requirements, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., API, ISO, LOLER).  Team Coordination:  Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and third-party vendors.  Supervise and mentor junior engineers and project staff to build team capabilities.  Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.  Field Operations:  Oversee on-site activities during maintenance and repair operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.  Coordinate with logistics teams, including mobilization of personnel, equipment, and spare parts to offshore locations.  Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality checks as required.    Continuous Improvement:  Identify opportunities to optimize maintenance processes and reduce downtime.  Implement innovative solutions to improve crane performance and reliability.  Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials, tools, and equipment.  Requirements Essential:  Education: Hold as a minimum a 3 Years’ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering  or equivalent (B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent).  Shall have LEEA-UK qualifications “Entry Exam” and 4 day Appointed Person (Supervisor) course by client approved Training Center.  Have relevant oil & gas offshore and onshore lifting related experience of not less than 8 years in the same area of application.  Be able to write Lifting plans, create, review and revise lifting operation plan/procedures (LOP), and risk assessments for all lifting operation categories (routine, simple complicated & complex lift), supervise and execute critical lifting.  Be able to design and prepare drawings for all types of lifting plans categories and procedures in line with Company standards and requirements.  Operational use and awareness of Lifting Equipment Regulations, and all relevant client Codes/Standards for Inspection and Certification requirements.  Preferred Qualifications:  Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.  Certifications in offshore safety training, such as BOSIET or FOET.  Experience with digital tools for asset management and predictive maintenance.  Behaviors and Personal Qualities Essential:  Strong organizational and time management skills.  Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records.  Good communication and interpersonal skills. 

Job Purpose The Engineering Projects section specializes in evaluating, specifying, and negotiating new and used aircraft acquisitions. We oversee the entire process, from initial evaluation and assembly inspection to final delivery and acceptance. We develop detailed specifications for aircraft and new system installations, including Passenger Entertainment and Connectivity Services (IFE) and Cabin Interiors. Our team ensures that all regulatory requirements, safety standards, functionality, and maintainability are met for each aircraft's entry into service. As a Project Engineer, you will provide technical expertise during the design and development of Emirates aircraft products in their respective fields i.e. Avionics, In Flight Entertainment (IFE), Cabin Interior, Airframe systems, Power Plant Engineering and Structure. To specify the Emirates aircraft definition to ensure that they are correctly configured prior to delivery and that all Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE) and Seller Furnished Equipment (SFE) programmes are delivered as per the specification and on time. In this role, you will: Evaluate information from various sources including Vendors, in house experience of in-service equipment and industry research/developments, in order to facilitate the selection of BFE (i.e. IFE , communication/navigation equipment, galleys and seats etc.) in future aircraft. Prepare recommendations for the introduction of new equipment selection for both future and in-service fleets, taking into account new trends within the industry. Participate in Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), airline working groups to steer aircraft Interior design and other equipment specifications to EK needs / benefit. Participate in initial technical co-ordination meetings , preliminary design reviews, critical design reviews and First Article Inspections (FAI) of new equipment with the relevant suppliers/airframes, participate in source inspection. Follow-up design issues with suppliers and prepare action plan of open FAI issues. Monitor the performance of aircraft and equipment for the in-service fleet by reviewing Technical Follow Ups (TFU) and Production Review Records (PRR), in order to ensure the timely introduction of committed changes by Manufacturers and Vendors for new programmes. To evaluate requirements of stakeholders to introduce enhancements to equipment and services and prepare recommendations and/or cost analysis in liaison with other operational areas of EK in order to support the introduction of changes to aircraft specifications of future fleets. Closely liaise with other stakeholders to ensure that any approved requirements for on-board features and functionalities are met. Participate with management to negotiate technical and commercial aspects of specific changes. Continuously review regulatory requirements that are being introduced in the industry for implementation in the specifications of future fleet. Coordinate with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth introduction of new aircraft at `Transfer of Title' and entry into operation. Review delivery updates during production process for any commitment letter items that needs to be addressed with the delivery manager for each newly introduced aircraft. Conduct research and feasibility studies, provide recommendations to optimize aircraft operations and improve the passenger experience in Cabin for the introductions of the future EK fleet. Assist the project team members in preparing budget requirements for new programs and suggesting recommendations. Assist Manager Aircraft Acceptance during final cabin acceptance and various inspections, design reviews. To also carry out post airplane delivery inspection before entry into Service. Develop, assist and coach you project team members and ensure project delivery. Qualification To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably in Aeronautical Engineering and/or holder of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence. Experience of 10+ years in aircraft engineering preferably with 5 years in projects Aircraft Delivery related profession. Thorough knowledge of the latest technical developments in Airframe, Power Plant, Avionics, IFE Equipment, Cabin equipment and installations and industry trends of future changes.
