Job summary We are looking for a skilled and passionate Barista to join our new coffee shop. The Barista will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee and espresso drinks, handling customer orders, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our coffee bar. Responsibilities and duties • Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and process payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system. • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages, according to company recipes and standards. • Operate and maintain coffee equipment, such as espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment, with precision and attention to detail. • Provide knowledgeable and friendly service by answering customer questions about menu items, coffee blends, and brewing methods. • Make menu recommendations and upsell items to enhance the customer experience. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, service counter, and seating areas. • Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. • Monitor and restock inventory, including coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies. • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service during peak hours. • Assist with opening and closing duties, such as setup and cleaning. Qualifications and skills • Proven experience as a Barista (4-5 years) • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills. • Excellent ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. • Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and enthusiasm to learn more. • A keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality, consistent beverage preparation. • Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Desired Candidate Profile Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc. after being cleaned by Housekeeper to ensure quality standards. Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms. Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities. Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry. Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk. Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments. Communicate issues to next shift. Complete required paperwork.
