BlackStone eIT is seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Engineer for a 2-month contract to assist in the development and optimization of our data infrastructure. This temporary role will provide the opportunity to work on critical projects and make an immediate impact within our team. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design and implement data pipelines, ensuring the efficient processing and analysis of large sets of data. Your expertise will enhance our data management strategies and support data-driven decision-making across the organization within a tight timeframe. Key Responsibilities Design and develop data pipelines for both batch and real-time data processing. Implement ETL processes, ensuring timely and accurate data flow from various sources. Optimize existing data infrastructures for improved performance and accessibility. Collaborate closely with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand their data needs. Conduct data quality assessments and implement solutions to improve data integrity. Document processes and workflows for future reference. Quickly troubleshoot and resolve any data-related issues that arise. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or related position. Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases. Strong skills in data pipeline and ETL tools. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
