Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and qualified Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer who holds a valid NEBOSH certificate and possesses at least 2 years of hands-on experience. The HSE Officer will support the company’s safety culture by implementing safety policies, ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, conducting risk assessments, and carrying out safety audits across all company operations. Key Responsibilities: Implement, monitor, and review company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential safety hazards, recommending appropriate corrective actions. Develop and maintain safety records, reports, and documentation in accordance with applicable standards and regulations. Deliver safety induction and periodic safety training sessions to new and existing employees. Assist in the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare incident reports and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety signage across the premises. Liaise with relevant local authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance with statutory HSE requirements. Conduct emergency response drills and fire safety exercises; ensure emergency equipment is readily available and properly maintained. Participate in safety committee meetings and promote awareness of safety and health issues among employees. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation and best practices. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field is preferred. NEBOSH International General Certificate (Mandatory). Minimum 2 years of practical experience in a health & safety role, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or a related industry. Strong knowledge of safety standards (OSHA, ISO 45001, local UAE regulations) is an advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for safety reporting and presentations. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Skills & Competencies: Ability to identify risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies. Strong leadership skills with the capacity to motivate teams towards safe work practices. Proven problem-solving skills and proactive approach to safety challenges. Good report-writing and record-keeping capabilities.
