POSITION OBJECTIVE We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Solutions Architect to join our tech team in Dubai. This is a critical role responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust, scalable, and secure technical solutions that drive our innovative FinTech products and services. You will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, ensuring our architecture aligns with strategic goals and industry best practices. KEY RESPONSIBILTIES Architectural Design & Strategy: Lead the design and evolution of our FinTech platform architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, performance, and maintainability. Translate complex business requirements and user stories into technical specifications and architectural blueprints. Define and enforce architectural standards, principles, and best practices across the development lifecycle. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and platforms to enhance our FinTech ecosystem. Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams, data flows, and design specifications. Technical Leadership & Guidance: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, guiding them on architectural decisions and implementation patterns. Conduct technical reviews and ensure adherence to architectural guidelines and coding standards. Collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand needs and propose optimal solutions. Act as a subject matter expert on FinTech trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements. Solution Delivery & Implementation: Oversee the end-to-end technical delivery of FinTech solutions, from conception to deployment and post-launch support. Identify and mitigate technical risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure solutions are built with a strong focus on data integrity, security (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR, local financial regulations), and compliance. Drive the adoption of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing to ensure high-quality and rapid deployments. Innovation & Research: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in FinTech, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and related technologies. Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency improvements within our technical landscape. Contribute to the strategic roadmap and vision of our FinTech product offerings. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3+ years specifically in a Solutions Architect or Lead Architect role within the FinTech industry. Deep understanding of financial services domains such as payments, lending, trading, wealth management, core banking, blockchain/DLT, or regulatory technology (RegTech). Proven experience designing and building highly scalable, secure, and resilient distributed systems. Strong expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and cloud-native architectures. Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, .Net, Python, Go, Node.js) and a strong understanding of various architectural patterns (e.g., Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, Serverless). Extensive experience with databases (relational and NoSQL) and data modeling. Solid understanding of API design and development (RESTful, GraphQL). Familiarity with security best practices in financial applications, including encryption, authentication, authorization, and compliance frameworks. Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset. Bonus (Nice-to-Haves): Experience with specific FinTech regulations in [relevant regions, e.g., EU, APAC]. Familiarity with open banking standards Experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis).
