Marine Manager

NOW HIRING: Marine Manager Package: Negotiable relevant to experience Duties & Responsibilities: • Yacht Representation: Serve as a liaison between the Owner and external partners and managing company. • Primary Contact: Offer round-the-clock support, ensuring responsive and professional service to yacht owners, captain and crew. • Owner Service Excellence: Adopt, communicate, execute the owner requests timely and efficiently by engaging relevant parties and ensuring timely delivery based on owner expectations, • Financial & Strategic Management: Collaborate on budgeting and financial oversight, manage the monthly budget and present yearly yacht budget projection in coordination with the managing company. • Crew Management: Manage the selection, rotation, payroll, performance, engagement and wellbeing of crew. • Compliance Oversight: Implement onboard standards, manage yacht files and documentation and ensure compliance with all maritime regulations. • Quality Assurance: Conduct/facilitate audits and yacht surveys to ensure safety and regulatory compliance and maintain rigorous standards of vessel upkeep and documentation. • Operations & Technical Management: Provide technical consultancy and drive all maintenance, technical requirements & Dry Dock selection, projects & refit, 3rd party appointments, agreements, negotiation and payments. Manage shipyard project end to end in coordination with managing company. • Charter Representative: Direct all Charter enquiries to the Central Agency and act as the liaison between the Owner, Clients, Central Agency and Finance Team and ensure all client technical requirements are executed within budget and service requirements are directed to central agency and the crew and payment are processed on time. • Skills & Competencies: • Marine Engineering Degree or equivalent is a must. • Excellent English communication skills. • Advance financial acumen. • Advanced MS Office Skills. • Project Management & Dashboard (Power BI) skills. • Proven ability in Luxury Yacht Operations with a focus on sea worthiness/compliance & client relations. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. Qualifications & Experience: • 10 Years of experience in shipyard or yacht management • Strong seagoing experience on yachts 80m+ • Strong shipyard experience on any type of vessels 80m+ • Chief Engineer on any vessel 80m+ is an advantage • Proven experience in yacht upgrade and yacht building is an advantage.
