Sales Executive

Job Summary:
The Hotel Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue through the acquisition of new clients and the retention of existing accounts. This includes selling guest rooms, meeting space, and other hotel services to corporate, group, and leisure clients, while building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
• Actively solicit new business through cold calling, networking, sales visits, and other proactive efforts.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets.
• Respond to and follow up on sales inquiries and leads.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure proper documentation is completed and maintained.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate accounts, travel agents, event planners, and other key partners.
• Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions.
• Coordinate with the operations and events teams to ensure guest satisfaction and seamless service delivery.
• Maintain a strong understanding of competitors, market trends, and hotel offerings.
• Use CRM software or property management system (PMS) to track leads, opportunities, and performance.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in hotel sales or a similar role (experience level can be adjusted based on the position).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi, Salesforce).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel, as needed.
