The Role?  To act as proposal lead on individual RFPs for Process services mainly involving Bolt Torquing and Tensioning, Flange Face machining, Cold Cutting, Hydrostatic Testing, Hot Tapping, Pipeline Flushing & Cleaning, Pipe Freezing, N2-He Leak Testing etc., and contribute towards achieving the booking plan of EnerMech’s AMEC region. Shall be flexible to work on other business line tenders, such as Cranes, Valves, etc. to name a few. Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas To act as a Lead Proposal Engineer on all process enquiries related to Process services involving Bolt Torquing and Tensioning, Flange Face machining, Cold Cutting, Hydrostatic Testing, Hot Tapping, Pipeline Flushing & Cleaning, Pipe Freezing, N2-He Leak Testing, etc. To act as the lead responsible person for planning, preparation, approvals, submission, and close-out of RFPs. Prepare and Lead Tender kick-off calls. Independently prepare Technical and Commercial proposal Documents. Independently carry out cost, time, and resource estimates for above mentioned scopes. Write methodologies and execution plans for all the Process services jobs specified above. Preparation of P&L, GP, GM, and cashflow reports. Preparation of manpower and equipment deployment plans. Deal with third parties to identify material and subcontracting costs. Technical and Commercial clarifications with the Client. Preparation of approval files, graphs, P&L sheets, cost breakdown etc. Liaise with internal stakeholders and maintain clear visibility of the progress on each tender. Deal with Operations, Procurement, Finance, Contracts, Legal, Tax, BD and other divisions for tender input in a timely manner and take their sign-off prior to submission of proposal. Follow the tender approval matrix and ensure correct approvals are in place on a timely manner Demonstrate with evidence the cost efficiencies achieved through the estimation process Continue to manage the monthly reporting data Dealing with pre- and post-tender clarifications Ensure compliance with the tender format Storyboard reviews through kick-off and progress calls for individual tenders Bring in innovative solutions on complex pricing schedules Management of tender folders on the server Any other tasks assigned by the Tendering Manager to support the workload. Requirements Minimum Bachelor of Engineering Degree. Previous experience in a techno-commercial role Knowledge of deepwater and onshore pipeline and umbilicals' pre-commissioning is mandatory. Understanding of the onshore/offshore oil and gas market. Experience in engineering and procedure writing Previous experience in front-end customer engagement and complex solution offering Preferred: Relevant site-based industry experience. Previous experience in a tendering / commercial role. Knowledge of the Africa, Middle East, and Caspian Oil & Gas market. Behaviors and Personal Qualities Strong personal leadership. Teamwork. Good Communication skills Flexible attitude to working hours and shift patterns in order to get the job done. Personal integrity that can be a role model for all other members of staff.

The Role The Planning Engineer role is primarily responsible for establishing the project planning system drafting associated written procedures and preparing the Project Contract Master Schedule for all disciplines of work.  Supporting the relevant regions and business line leadership in providing cost forecasting and reporting.  Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas Establish the resource plan and progress measurement system.  Prepare histograms and 'S' curves from the Contract Master Schedule.  Review procurement and subcontract plans to ensure they comply with Contract Master Schedule.  Monitor progress against Contract Master Schedule and propose any re-schedules required  Assist in the development of work packs for all disciplines, where required.  Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports in accordance with contract and internal procedural requirements.  Prepare 6 week lookaheads  Maintain an 'as-built' schedule.  Assist in ad-hoc exercise to support variation/claim preparation including delay analysis, preparation of timelines etc  Update the Contract Master Schedule on a weekly basis, monitor deviations and identify any problem areas to the Project Manager and Business Line Leaders.  Provide input to cost engineer to assist in cost forecasting based on latest schedule  Possess a significant degree of expertise in all aspects of Planning    Requirements Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering, Business Management, Quantity Surveying or similar.  Experience in planning, project controls role or an engineering discipline function involved in producing schedules, cost estimates, proposals, or similar.  Commercial and contractual diligence.  Skilled in the use of Primavera and other related software packages  Minimum 10 years experience, working within a planning environment for an oil & gas contractor.   Risk analysis/awareness.   Preferred:  Project Management and delivery vs deadlines.  Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
