Description

We seek an experienced and proactive IT Field Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in desktop and server support, infrastructure management, cloud technologies, and hosted email solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Provide on-site and remote support for desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues, ensuring minimal downtime for users. - Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues across various platforms, including Windows and macOS. - Perform server maintenance, upgrades, and support, ensuring system availability and performance. - Assist with network and infrastructure-related tasks such as router, switch, and firewall configurations. Cloud Technologies - Manage and support cloud-based services, including Office 365, Google Workspace, and other hosted email solutions. - Migrate and configure user accounts, emails, and settings between platforms as required. - Implement and manage cloud security measures and backup solutions. Infrastructure Management - Install, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure, including networking devices, servers, and storage systems. - Manage data backup and recovery processes to safeguard critical information. Experience - Proven experience in an IT Field Engineer or similar role, providing both on-site and remote support. - In-depth knowledge of desktop and server environments, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. - Familiarity with Windows Server roles and features (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc.). - Proficiency with cloud technologies such as Office 365, Google Workspace, and hosted email solutions. - Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, VLANs, and wireless technologies. - Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and backup solutions. - Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, including endpoint security and firewall management. - Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written. - Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle and resolve client queries efficiently. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Other Requirements - Valid UAE driving license (preferred). - Flexibility to travel across locations for on-site support when necessary. - Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate, Google Workspace certification) are a plus.
