The Role: Housekeeping Attendant The primary responsibility of the Housekeeping Attendant is to maintain the apartments' cleanliness, hygiene, and outstanding presentation of our apartments. This role is central to providing guests with a pleasant and memorable stay, ensuring each property meets SmartStay's exceptional standards. Responsibilities: Perform daily cleaning tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and sanitizing surfaces, as well as changing bed linens, replacing towels, and replenishing guest supplies. Inspect apartments for damages and report any issues. Communicate and follow protocols for lost and found items. Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored. Follow health and safety regulations, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize cleaning tasks and meet deadlines. Respond promptly to guest requests related to housekeeping services. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all assigned apartments. Qualifications: Previous housekeeping experience in hospitality, hotel, or holiday home environments is preferred. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus). Ability to use mobile apps for following up on checklists and reporting maintenance issues. Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor tasks. We are looking for a candidate who worked as commis chef or have the experience to act as a commis chef or worked as a Barista in a branded coffee shop or as a Kitchen helper. He/She knows how to prepare basic sandwiches, salad, do basic cooking and frying (burger and fries), and serve hot/cold drinks. He/She should know using POS taking orders, payments, cashier opening and closure of the food truck. As minimum have completed basic food safety trainings. PIC is a plus. The candidate Shall be based in UAE and available to join immediately. The location of the Job is in Dubai Safari Park.
