A Head Florist oversees all aspects of a floral department, including design, production, and delivery of floral arrangements. This role requires strong leadership, artistic talent, and a deep understanding of floral design, plant care, and customer service. Head Florists manage and mentor a team of florists, ensuring high-quality work and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities: Floral Design and Production: Creating stunning floral arrangements for various occasions, such as weddings, corporate events, and daily customer orders. Supervision and Mentorship: Guiding and training junior florists, ensuring they adhere to high standards of flower care and arrangement techniques. Inventory Management: Maintaining an adequate stock of fresh flowers, greenery, and supplies, ensuring quality and freshness. Customer Service: Handling customer inquiries, providing expert advice on floral selections, and resolving any issues with professionalism. Operational Management: Overseeing the daily operations of the floral department, including workflow, scheduling, and budget management. Creative Leadership: Staying updated on the latest floral design trends, techniques, and industry advancements to provide innovative and creative solutions. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven Experience: Several years of experience as a florist, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Floral Expertise: Deep knowledge of flower types, care techniques, and various design styles. Artistic and Creative Skills: Exceptional ability to create visually appealing and unique floral arrangements.
