Ensure that the SEO campaigns are aligned with the clients’ goals, brand guidelines, and target audience
Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, tools, and algorithm changes, and apply them to your work
Communicate and collaborate with the SEO Director, the Art Director, the SEO Content Team, and the Account Managers, and report on the progress and results of the SEO campaigns
Manage and supervise the SEO team, and assign tasks and projects to the SEO Specialists and Managers
Train and mentor the SEO Specialists and Managers, and help them improve their skills and performance
Coordinate with the other teams and departments, such as web development, design, content, and social media, to ensure the integration and consistency of the SEO campaigns
Evaluate and improve the SEO processes, policies, and standards, and ensure the compliance and quality of the SEO work
Skills Required
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, computer science, or a related field
At least 7+ years of experience in SEO, preferably in a digital marketing agency or a similar environment
At least 5 years of experience in overseeing and leading an SEO team
A proven track record of overseeing and leading successful SEO campaigns for various clients and industries
Proficiency in SEO tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Moz, and more
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills
