Part of the C3 generation (1968–1982), the 1971 model was among the last to feature high-output engines before strict U.S. emissions regulations. Inspired by the 1965 Mako Shark II concept, the design includes a long nose, chrome bumpers, and T-top roof panels. This specific car was purchased in Virginia in 2015, then imported to Dubai, where it underwent a complete nut-and-bolt restoration, including a full rebuild of the engine and drivetrain, and the addition of modern air conditioning for better comfort in hot climates.
