Clean and prepare work areas by removing waste, sludge, and blockages from drainage systems. Load and unload drainage maintenance equipment, tools, and cleaning supplies. Support drainage technicians and plumbers by handing tools, securing hoses, and performing basic manual tasks. Follow safety instructions and guidelines under the supervision of a foreman or skilled worker. Assist with clearing clogs, digging trenches, inspecting pipes, and using high-pressure water jets or vacuum systems. Operate basic drainage equipment and tools such as plungers, augers, jetting machines, and suction hoses (with proper training). Clean and maintain drainage tools, hoses, and vehicles after use. Keep the work area tidy and free of hazardous materials during and after tasks.
