Hygiene Cleaning Supervisor (Food Manufacturing Factory)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hygiene & Cleaning Supervisor to lead and manage our sanitation and cleaning operations within the food manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that all cleaning and hygiene standards are strictly maintained in compliance with food safety regulations, while managing a team of cleaners efficiently. Key Responsibilities: • Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities in all production, storage, and common areas of the factory. • Ensure that all cleaning tasks are performed according to the company’s hygiene standards and in line with food safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) requirements. • Train, motivate, and monitor cleaning staff to ensure adherence to established cleaning protocols and schedules. • Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify cleanliness and sanitation levels. • Prepare cleaning schedules and allocate tasks to team members effectively. • Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment. • Report any maintenance or hygiene-related issues to management promptly. • Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cleaning efficiency and hygiene standards. • Manage pest control activities and ensure compliance with related guidelines. • Enforce strict compliance with health & safety regulations and use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Requirements: • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hygiene & cleaning supervisory role, preferably in a food manufacturing or food processing environment. • Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and other food safety standards. • Proven leadership and team management skills. • Ability to train and develop staff on cleaning techniques and hygiene practices. • Physically fit and capable of working in a factory environment. Education: • High school diploma or equivalent required; further certifications in hygiene or food safety are a plus.
