MEP and HVAC Engineer

Job Title: MEP & HVAC Engineer Location: Dubai, UAE Job Type: Full-Time Experience Level: Mid-Senior Level (Minimum 5 Years) Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled MEP and HVAC Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the design, installation supervision, and commissioning of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems, with particular focus on HVAC systems. Experience in the design of swimming pool mechanical systems is highly desirable. The candidate must demonstrate a solid understanding and practical application of the Dubai Building Code and relevant local regulations. Key Responsibilities: Design & Documentation Prepare detailed MEP and HVAC system designs in compliance with project requirements and Dubai Building Code. Develop mechanical drawings, schematics, BOQs, and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant software. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other consultants to ensure integrated designs. Installation Supervision Oversee on-site installation of MEP and HVAC systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications, timelines, and quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews. Review and approve shop drawings and material submittals. Commissioning & Testing Manage pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for HVAC and MEP systems. Ensure proper calibration, balancing, and functional testing of systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during installation and handover phases. Specialty Systems Participate in the design and technical review of mechanical systems for swimming pools, water features, and spas. Compliance & Standards Ensure all designs and implementations comply with Dubai Municipality, DEWA, DCD, and other regulatory authority standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and local legislation. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. Minimum 5 years of proven experience in MEP and HVAC design and project implementation in Dubai or the UAE. Strong knowledge of Dubai Building Code and authority regulations (DM, DEWA, DCD, etc.). Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, and other HVAC design tools. Hands-on experience in site supervision and commissioning. Experience in design of pool mechanical systems is a strong advantage. Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills. UAE Driving License is preferred.
