Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Formwork Supervisor/Engineer to oversee and manage all formwork-related activities on site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil/structural projects, with hands-on experience in executing formwork works for high-rise buildings. You will be responsible for ensuring timely execution, compliance with safety and quality standards, and efficient coordination with internal teams and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Execution: Plan and execute civil and structural formwork works in line with approved drawings and project specifications. Obtain necessary approvals from consultants and clients. Team & Subcontractor Coordination: Coordinate construction activities with subcontractors according to project priorities and timelines. Workforce Management: Allocate daily tasks and general responsibilities to the workforce. Supervise, train, and monitor labor and tradespeople to ensure productivity and quality. Attendance & Scheduling: Prepare and maintain schedules. Monitor attendance and ensure the availability of required manpower. Resource Utilization: Ensure effective use of manpower, materials, equipment, and machinery. Optimize resource allocation to avoid delays and cost overruns. Safety & Quality Compliance: Enforce safety guidelines and ensure quality standards are maintained at all times. Promote a safe, secure, and compliant working environment. Waste Control: Monitor material wastage on-site and ensure it remains within acceptable limits. Problem Resolution: Address on-site issues promptly or escalate to the Engineer in charge when required. Daily Reporting: Maintain accurate daily work progress reports and share updates with the supervising engineer. Requirements Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the UAE or India. Proven experience in completing at least two high-rise building projects. Strong knowledge of formwork systems, construction techniques, and site operations. Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills. Commitment to safety and quality standards.
