We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Engineer DAE Civil Diploma holder with specialized expertise in Quantity Surveying (QS). The ideal candidate will leverage strong technical skills in AutoCAD 2D and advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word to support cost management, project documentation, and engineering design tasks. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed Quantity Take-offs (QTO), Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and cost estimates for construction projects. Utilize AutoCAD 2D to review, modify, and produce technical drawings and plans. Develop and maintain project documentation, reports, and progress trackers using MS Word and MS Excel. Analyze project specifications, contracts, and drawings to identify cost variations and risks. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment on budgets and timelines. Support tender processes, contract administration, and payment certifications. Perform site visits (if required) to verify measurements and monitor progress. Required Qualifications & Skills Education: DAE Civil or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Experience: Proven work experience in Quantity Surveying within construction/engineering projects. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD 2D (drafting, editing, interpretation). Expert-level skills in MS Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, data analysis) and MS Word (report formatting, documentation). Core Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and documentation. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of construction contracts.

1. Review Drawings & Specs: Study architectural, MEP, ID, and structural drawings to understand the scope and ensure coordination. 2. Site Supervision: Monitor daily site activities to ensure proper installation and finishing per approved drawings and materials. 3. Quality Control: Ensure workmanship quality, finishes, and material installation meet the project standards and client requirements. 4. Coordination: • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades (MEP, civil, etc.). • Ensure proper sequencing of work to avoid delays or rework. 5. Material Inspection: • Ensure only approved materials are delivered and used on site. • Check storage and handling to avoid damage or defects. ⸻ Project & Time Management 6.
