Construction Civil Engineer

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer with a strong background in the prefabricated construction industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, planning, and executing prefab projects, including site supervision, coordination with various stakeholders, and ensuring quality and safety compliance. Candidates must have Dubai Municipality approved. Must have experience in steel structure.

We require a Structural/Site Engineer with a G+4 D.M. License or Eligible to obtain the G+4 D.M. License. Minimum 3 years of work experience in Dubai. The candidate should have good knowledge of design drawings of Warehouses, Villas & Buildings including Basement design in AutoCAD and should have sufficient knowledge in Structural softwares like STAADpro, Prokon, etc for both RCC & Steel Structure Design. The candidate should also have knowledge of authority submissions for JAFZA, D.M., DDA, DTC, etc. SOE & UAE Driving License is Required. This is for a Consulting office in Al Karama, Dubai

Civil Engineer - G+1 | G+4 Dubai Municipality Approved TARRAB CONTRACTING L.L.C is seeking a highly skilled and Dubai Municipality (DM) G+1 Approved Civil Engineer with proven experience in BUILDING CONSTRUCTION within UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all phases of construction projects—from planning to execution and handover while ensuring full compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations and engineering standards. Key Responsibilities: • Manage submissions and obtain permits/NOCs from authorities including DDA, DM, Trakhees, DEWA, Civil Defense, TECOM, and others. • Prepare and submit detailed approval documentation including architectural drawings, structural modifications, and compliance reports. • Liaise with authority engineers, attend technical meetings, and manage resubmissions or clarifications as required. • Maintain organized logs and trackers for all approval stages, including timelines, requirements, and correspondence. • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and Dubai Municipality inspectors for approvals and inspections. • Ensure proper execution of civil works, including foundation, concrete, and finishing works. • Review and interpret structural and architectural drawings. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering . Dubai Municipality G+1 Engineer Approval (mandatory). • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Dubai, specifically in Fit outs . • Strong knowledge of UAE construction codes, DM procedures, and authority approvals. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other civil engineering tools. • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. • Valid UAE driving license is preferred.

1. Review Drawings & Specs: Study architectural, MEP, ID, and structural drawings to understand the scope and ensure coordination. 2. Site Supervision: Monitor daily site activities to ensure proper installation and finishing per approved drawings and materials. 3. Quality Control: Ensure workmanship quality, finishes, and material installation meet the project standards and client requirements. 4. Coordination: • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades (MEP, civil, etc.). • Ensure proper sequencing of work to avoid delays or rework. 5. Material Inspection: • Ensure only approved materials are delivered and used on site. • Check storage and handling to avoid damage or defects. ⸻ Project & Time Management 6. Program Monitoring: Track daily progress against the master schedule. Report delays or risks to the Project Manager. 7. Work Planning: Assist in preparing lookahead schedules and daily task planning with the site team. 8. Snagging & Handover: Identify and rectify snags before handover.
