Shop-Floor Supervisor

Job Title: Workshop / Accessories Supervisor (Automotive) Company: Fani Auto Service – Dubai, UAE Reports to: Owner / General Manager Team Size: 7 technicians + 2–3 helpers/drivers Job Purpose Run the day-to-day flow of a busy car-accessories workshop, plan work, keep techs on time, clear parts bottlenecks, and ensure every job is up to standard, on schedule, and without the owner needing to micro-manage. Key Responsibilities - Schedule & allocate work each morning; keep the white-board / WIP system accurate all day. - Enforce attendance & discipline (Clockify kiosk, leave log, first-level warnings). - Quality-check installs. - Develop stand operating procedure checklists. - Clear roadblocks fast: liaise with purchasing for missing parts, jump in hands-on if a bay stalls. - Coach & develop technicians together with the Senior Technician (Foreman). - Track KPIs: jobs completed, turnaround time, rework; share wins in the Friday “Win & Learn” huddle. - Customer hand-over support; brief service advisor or speak to client if complex queries arise. - Safety & 5S: keep bays tidy, tools stored, waste disposed per UAE regulations. Requirements - 3 + years supervising in any industry, with a bonus if you have experience supervising technicians in an automotive workshop, garage, accessories shop or body shop. - Strong technical base. - Proven people-leadership: fair on discipline, positive on coaching. - Comfortable with light digital tools (Clockify, Google Sheets, WhatsApp). - Good spoken English & Urdu/Hindi; Arabic is a plus. - UAE manual driving license preferred.
