We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and support budgeting and forecasting processes. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports. Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Manage accounts payable and receivable. Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Process payroll and ensure timely tax submissions. Coordinate internal and external audits. Maintain and update financial databases and systems. Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Support senior management with financial insights and recommendations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar financial role. Strong understanding of accounting principles. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero). Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.). High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
