Accountant (With UAE Experience)

Job Title: Accountant (With UAE Experience) Location: Dubai, UAE (On-site, Full-time) Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The Accountant will play a crucial role in managing core accounting functions, ensuring tax compliance, and maintaining accurate financial records. This position reports directly to the General Manager and provides essential support to the team. Key Responsibilities: • Financial Reporting & Monthly Processing: o Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, including Profit and Loss statements and Balance Sheets. o Ensure accurate recording of all sales and implement robust systems for highlighting issues and preparing various sales reports. o Perform cash and bank reconciliations. o Manage Accounts Receivable, ensuring effective invoicing, tracking, and periodic monitoring of debtors. o Manage Accounts Payable, including maintenance of the purchasing system, reconciliation of creditor statements, and handling queries. • Tax Compliance (UAE Specific): o Handle VAT (Value Added Tax) registration and return submission. o Handle Corporate Tax registration and return submission. o Perform VAT and Corporate Tax registration on the FTA Portal as and when required. o Submit VAT and Corporate Tax Returns as and when required. Requirements: • Proven experience in UAE VAT and tax accounting (required). • Ambitious, confident, and professional individual with strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills. • Solid accounting background, preferably gained in an accounting firm or industry role. • Qualified or part-qualified accountant. • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. • Prior experience working in the UAE is essential. Software Skills: Accounts-related software like Xero accounting software or Zoho Books or QuickBooks. Salary: AED 4,000 per month (based on experience) Availability: Immediate
