Job Summary The Civil Engineer is responsible for performing all the administrative and operational functions necessary for the day to day operation of the project. In the absence of the Sr. Civil Engineer, the Civil Engineer will assume his duties. Job Duties Review of Inspectors Daily Reports. Preparation of Engineer’s Daily Diary. General oversight of Inspector’s daily activities including works assignments, on-site performance and guidance on the supervision of the Contractor’s operations. Review of Contractor’s inspection, surveying and testing requests and subsequent completed reports. Review and Approval of the Contractor’s Shop Drawings as delegated by the Resident Engineer. Monitoring the performance of the survey party. Review and Approval of the Contractor’s proposed materials and methods as delegated by the Resident Engineer. Preparation of Meeting Minutes as delegated by the Resident Engineer. Coordination with Contractor’s supervisory personnel regarding schedule, sequence and method of work. Monitoring conformance with the Contractor’s schedule. Continuous Field Inspections of the work in the progress and consultation with both the Resident Engineer’s and Contractor’s supervisory staff. Preparation of written and oral reports to the Resident Engineer on contractual and procedural matters. Review of as-built drawings, in coordination with inspectors and surveyors. Qualification Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering Previous RTA approval is preferrable Experience 10+ years demonstrable experience in supervision of construction of roads and highways. The Role The primary responsibility is to support the deck operations on the client platform as per the client processes and procedures and demonstrate safety leadership and continuous development in all aspects of crane, lifting, and support service activities.  Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas Lifting AP (Deck Foreman) shall perform and be responsible for the following designated as being in charge of planning, coordinating, controlling, and executing the lift.   Be responsible for coordinating EnerMech's Riggers to conduct all vessel lifts and those on the platform as directed by the Crane Supervisor.  Ensures that people involved are competent in performing their task, aware of the task and procedures to be followed, and aware of their responsibilities. Briefs people involved in or affected by the lift.  Ensure all necessary test certificates and other documents are available. Shall be responsible for the management of client-owned and supplied loose lifting equipment. Be fully trained and conversant with loose lifting equipment rigging loft management procedures i.e. maintain a lifting equipment database & issuance register consisting of the following;   Inventory of equipment.   Test certificate.   Damage loss report register  Booking in & out sheets detailing the name of the person using equipment, date of issue, description etc.  In line with client's Bi-annual lifting equipment campaign assist TPI with the inspection & recertification of lifting equipment.   Carry out Banking/Signalman duties as and when required. Ensures the lift is carried out following the plan. Suspends the lift if changes or conditions (eg, wind) occur that would cause a deviation from the plan.  Plan and risk assess all routine and up to non-routine complicated crane-lifting operations associated with the day-to-day running of the client platforms.   Supervise all lifting operations on client platforms, including non-routine complex lifts.   Selecting the correct crane and accessories for the specific task.  Checks that load integrity and stability are satisfactory;   Ensure all other statutory requirements and any necessary work permits are in place.  Identify all hazards and restricted areas.   Emergency Procedures in case of damage or impairment to the crane during operation, and for safe recovery of the crane to a holding location on the installation.   Ensuring that the person directing crane movements (Signaller / Banksman) is readily identifiable to the crane operator by wearing high visibility clothing or distinguishing markings.  Shall allow for concurrent or simultaneous operations that may affect or be affected by the lift, eg, helicopter operations, ballast control, and other cranes.  Checks that there is no deviation from standards for routine lifts.  Ensuring that the workplace is provided with adequate lighting for night lifting.  Complete reports, lifting operation risk assessments, logs, and other documentation, as required.  Ensure a competent supervisor is available should the Appointed Person delegate his duties or part thereof to others   Have sufficient general engineering knowledge of loose lifting equipment to carry out daily inspection routines.   Ensures that the lifting equipment is maintained, examined, and appropriate for use.  Carry out platform emergency duties under the direction of nominated personnel.   Be multi-skilled in other platform duties including operating of firefighting equipment and undertaking fire standby and deck duties, when required.  The Appointed person can delegate his duties to competent personnel however the responsibility is still with the Appointed Person.   The Appointed person has the authority to stop operations where danger is likely to arise if operations continue.      Requirements Essential: Have at least 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.   Have relevant oil & gas offshore and onshore lifting-related experience of not less than 10 years in the same area of application with 5 years in a similar position.   Have adequate training and hands on professional experience and be competent to act as an Appointed Person for lifting equipment.   Shall be able to write Lifting plans, and supervise and execute critical lifting in oil & gas companies.   Have focus on HSE priorities and lead a team for Safe Lifting Practices across different locations of the organization.   Familiar with international standard related to Lifting engineering practices with sufficient knowledge in interpretation and to bring excellence in Change management. Preferred: Shall have LEEA-UK "Entry Exam" and 4-day Appointed Person course. In this role, you will be responsible for managing costs and contracts related to façade projects, ensuring that they are completed within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with project teams, contractors, and clients to provide accurate cost estimations and financial management throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities Prepare and manage project cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports related to façade works. Conduct detailed quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to secure the best value. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates on financial status to stakeholders. Assess and manage variations and claims on contracts. Participate in project meetings and provide input on cost management strategies. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all aspects of cost management. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Job Summary:  GluCare Integrated Diabetes Center is looking for a highly motivated UAE National graduate to join our team as a Project Coordinator focused on brownfield healthcare builds. This role is ideally suited for an Emirati with a biomedical or biotech engineering background, who will be trained and mentored to develop deep project management and technical skills in healthcare infrastructure development. You will be responsible for supporting the planning and execution of refurbishment, expansion, and fit-out projects across our healthcare facilities, with a focus on the coordination of medical equipment procurement, contractor and vendor management, and collaboration with internal stakeholders. This is an opportunity to grow into a key leadership role in healthcare project delivery in the UAE. Key Responsibilities: Project Coordination & Execution: Support brownfield healthcare facility expansion and renovation projects from design through to handover. Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, contractors, and vendors to align project work with clinical and operational requirements.
