NOW HIRING: FIBERGLASS TECHNICIAN Reporting to: Marine Supervisor Location: Abu Dhabi Region Salary: AED3,000 – AED4,000/month depending on experience Health & Life Insurance: For Self Ticket Allowance: For Self Accommodation: Provided Are you skilled in fiberglass and gel coat application? Do you have a passion for craftsmanship and quality? We are looking for a dedicated Fiberglass & Gel Coat Technician to join our dynamic team and be a part of our success! The ideal candidate shall have experience in fiberglass fabrication and repair, with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. Duties & Responsibilities: • Perform fiberglass fabrication including cutting, handling, installation, and mold-making. • Identify and repair defects such as cracks, blisters, stress fractures, and other cosmetic or structural flaws. • Prep damaged areas, mix resins, and apply repair materials using appropriate tools. • Grind, sand, shape, and smooth areas to match original contours. • Mix and apply gel coat (spray or brush) to match surface color and finish. • Buff and polish repaired surfaces for a seamless finish. • Perform carpentry, painting, welding, steelwork, and other mechanical repair tasks. • Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs on marine systems and components. • Install and maintain electrical wiring, lighting, and controls in marine vessels. • Effective use of frequent consumption of materials. • Handle heavy machinery with care. • Ensure the workshop is clean and clear from hazards. • Ensure all tools are properly organized and stored. Skills & Competencies: • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent time management and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently without supervision. • Effective team player with high level of collaboration. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. • Ability to create new Mold & laminate with fiberglass until finished product. Qualifications & Experience: • 3 - 5 Years experience in fiberglass and gel coat application. • Minimum High school degree or equivalent. • Excellent Knowledge of fiberglass materials and techniques.
