The sculpture exhibits a fine craftsmanship, especially seen in the pattern of the clothes and the face. The face shows a serene expression with a penetrating gaze, the deity looking towards the viewer with wide-open eyes. A wide nose and full lips underline the sublime countenance. Braided hair is tied up into a topknot. The body is dressed in a richly pleated garment tied around the waist. Whilst the midriff is uncovered, precious jewelry, worked in high relief, adorns the chest and hips. The sandstone sculpture is in good condition with signs of wear consistent with its age. The dimensions are 120 x 37 x 18 cm. On the plinth the overall height of the sculpture measures 137 cm. Please note the sculpture is extremely heavy and requires professional transportation.
