The Emirates Investment Authority (EIA) is the Sovereign Wealth Fund of the Federal Government of the UAE, managing strategic investments and fostering economic growth. We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning and Reporting Consultant for a 6-month temporary contract to support our Finance team in financial reporting, planning, and data analysis. The role is critical in ensuring compliance with IFRS, UAE regulatory standards, and EIA’s financial governance framework while driving automation and process improvements in financial reporting systems. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare financial statements, management reports, and ensure IFRS compliance. Budgeting & Forecasting: Support budgeting processes and variance analysis, ensuring alignment with corporate financial objectives. Data Analysis & Decision Support: Provide insights through financial modelling, trend analysis, and KPI tracking to support strategic decisions. Month-End & Year-End Close: Assist in reconciliations, audit documentation, and reporting. ERP & Automation: Contribute to the implementation of financial reporting tools and ERP systems for process improvement. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with investment, risk, treasury, and external auditors to ensure seamless financial operations. Requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. ICAEW, ACCA, CPA, or CFA certification is preferred. Experience 5+ years in financial planning, corporate finance, or financial reporting, ideally within sovereign wealth funds, investment firms, or multinational corporations. Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial modelling, and performance reporting. Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred). Technical Skills Proficiency in financial analytics, Excel (advanced functions), and reporting automation tools. Experience in risk management, compliance, and internal/external audit processes.
