The Purpose of the Role The Financial & Performance Reporting Manager is responsible for developing and producing performance and financial reporting for EIA’s investments and operations. This function plays a key role in enhancing investment performance reporting, integrating automation and AI-driven tools, and improving transparency in financial disclosures. The role should also oversee financial reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS, UAE regulatory requirements, and international best practices. The Financial & Performance Reporting Manager will lead financial reporting innovations, ensure alignment with investment analytics, and strengthen data integrity to support strategic decision-making within EIA. Strategic Responsibilities Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management, enabling proactive decision-making in existing and new individual investments, funds and portfolio optimization. Support regulatory and stakeholder reporting with in-depth analytics on fund performance and financial risks. Develop and implement advanced reporting strategies to align with EIA’s investment objectives and governance frameworks. Leverage automation and AI-powered analytics to optimize financial reporting processes and data accuracy. Drive digital transformation initiatives within financial reporting, improving efficiency, compliance, and risk management. Collaborate with external auditors, regulatory authorities, and investment teams to strengthen financial controls and enhance fund transparency. Engage in financial risk management initiatives, identifying reporting risks and implementing mitigation strategies. Core Responsibilities Provide performance reports on EIA’s financial and investment performance. Oversee the preparation of financial statements, fund performance reports, and external financial disclosures in compliance with IFRS, UAE regulations, and investment reporting standards, ensuring alignment across financial units. Implement automation solutions and AI-driven financial reporting tools to enhance speed, accuracy, and efficiency while integrating financial performance analysis with fund reporting. Develop and enforce internal financial controls to maintain data integrity and compliance with corporate governance frameworks. Manage financial consolidation processes to ensure seamless reporting across investment portfolios. Supervise the adoption and optimization of ERP systems and financial data analytics tools, ensuring financial data accuracy and consistency. Provide variance analysis, risk-adjusted return insights, and KPI reporting for executive decision-making while leading fund performance reporting enhancements to deliver real-time insights. Conduct financial reporting risk assessments to maintain compliance with governance policies and support executive management in budgeting, financial forecasting, and investment performance analytics. People Management Responsibilities Lead and mentor the financial reporting team, fostering a culture of data-driven accuracy, compliance, and innovation. Provide training on financial reporting automation, AI-powered analytics, and regulatory changes.  Develop career development programs and succession planning for financial reporting professionals.  Foster cross-functional collaboration with investment, treasury, and risk management teams to align financial reporting with investment strategy.  Ensure adherence to best practices in data governance, financial analytics, and reporting integrity. Requirements Education A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field is required, with an advanced degree (MBA, CPA, CFA) preferred. Certifications such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA are highly desirable Experience Candidates should have 10+ years of experience in financial reporting, with at least 5 years focused on fund performance analytics or investment reporting. Experience in implementing AI-driven financial reporting solutions, ERP systems, and data analytics tools is crucial. Technical Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Strong expertise in IFRS, financial controls, fund performance reporting, and investment analytics is required, alongside a comprehensive understanding of UAE financial regulations, compliance frameworks, and global reporting standards. Additionally, candidates must have prior exposure to audit coordination, financial consolidation, and automation of financial processes. Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, and fund administration platforms like Burgiss, Citco, Aladdin, Bloomberg, and FactSet is preferential.
