Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MEP Engineer to oversee, manage, and ensure the proper design, installation, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems in luxury villas and residential developments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems and be capable of coordinating with consultants, contractors, and project teams to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Design & Planning Review and interpret MEP design drawings and specifications for villas. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and consultants to ensure seamless system integration. Propose design improvements for energy efficiency, cost savings, and performance. Installation Supervision Supervise on-site installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Ensure that installations meet UAE codes, standards, and client requirements. Conduct quality inspections and system testing during and after installation. Project Management Monitor project progress, manage schedules, and ensure timely completion of MEP works. Coordinate with procurement for materials, tools, and subcontractors. Prepare progress reports and attend project meetings with stakeholders. Maintenance & Operations Support the development of maintenance schedules for completed villas. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC, electrical, or plumbing systems before the start of project, during the project and post-handover. Implement preventive maintenance plans to reduce system failures. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in residential/villa construction projects. Solid knowledge of local building codes, standards, and MEP design principles. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Project, and relevant software tools. Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills. Professional Engineering License or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory). Key Competencies: Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Strong leadership and team coordination capabilities. Up-to-date knowledge of sustainable and smart home technologies.
