We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Audio Engineer with a specialization in L-Acoustics systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with L-Acoustics sound systems in live events and will be responsible for the design, setup, operation, and maintenance of the audio systems for one of our client venues. This role is crucial in ensuring the highest quality sound production for events ranging from concerts to corporate events. Responsibilities: System Design & Setup: Design, configure, and set up L-Acoustics audio systems tailored to the venue’s acoustics and event requirements. Sound Mixing & Tuning: Handle live sound mixing, ensuring optimal sound clarity, volume, and balance for every event. Utilize L-Acoustics network control software (e.g., LA Network Manager) for tuning and system optimization. System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and checks on all audio equipment, ensuring L-Acoustics systems are in optimal condition for all events. Collaboration: Work closely with event producers, technical directors, and artists to understand their audio needs and provide solutions for sound design, coverage, and technical support. Troubleshooting: Quickly and effectively troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise with the audio systems, especially during live performances or events. Equipment Inventory: Manage the inventory of all in-house audio equipment, ensuring the availability of necessary gear and assisting with the procurement of additional equipment when required. Team Leadership & Training: Lead and mentor junior audio engineers and technicians, ensuring the team has the necessary knowledge and skills to operate the systems effectively. Provide training on L-Acoustics equipment and audio engineering best practices. Event Support: Be present on event days for setup, sound checks, and operation of audio systems, ensuring everything runs smoothly during live events. Requirements Expertise in L-Acoustics: Proven experience working with L-Acoustics audio systems, including loudspeakers, amplifiers, and network control software. Knowledge of L-Acoustics modeling tools (e.g., Soundvision) is a plus. Extensive Audio Engineering Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience working as an audio engineer, with a strong background in live sound reinforcement, system design, and mixing for large-scale events. Technical Proficiency: In-depth understanding of sound system components, signal flow, acoustics, and digital mixing consoles (e.g., Avid, Yamaha). Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot audio issues quickly and effectively, especially under pressure during live events. Excellent Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with artists, event organizers, and technical teams. Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail, especially when calibrating and tuning sound systems. Flexible Schedule: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and irregular hours as required by the event schedule. Preferred Qualifications: Certification or training in L-Acoustics products and systems. Experience in a venue-based or permanent audio engineering role. Knowledge of audio software, such as Pro Tools, QLab, or other sound-related applications. Job Purpose The Engineering Projects section specializes in evaluating, specifying, and negotiating new and used aircraft acquisitions. We oversee the entire process, from initial evaluation and assembly inspection to final delivery and acceptance. We develop detailed specifications for aircraft and new system installations, including Passenger Entertainment and Connectivity Services (IFE) and Cabin Interiors. Our team ensures that all regulatory requirements, safety standards, functionality, and maintainability are met for each aircraft's entry into service. As a Project Engineer, you will provide technical expertise during the design and development of Emirates aircraft products in their respective fields i.e. Avionics, In Flight Entertainment (IFE), Cabin Interior, Airframe systems, Power Plant Engineering and Structure. To specify the Emirates aircraft definition to ensure that they are correctly configured prior to delivery and that all Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE) and Seller Furnished Equipment (SFE) programmes are delivered as per the specification and on time. In this role, you will: Evaluate information from various sources including Vendors, in house experience of in-service equipment and industry research/developments, in order to facilitate the selection of BFE (i.e. IFE , communication/navigation equipment, galleys and seats etc.) in future aircraft. Prepare recommendations for the introduction of new equipment selection for both future and in-service fleets, taking into account new trends within the industry. Participate in Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), airline working groups to steer aircraft Interior design and other equipment specifications to EK needs / benefit. Participate in initial technical co-ordination meetings , preliminary design reviews, critical design reviews and First Article Inspections (FAI) of new equipment with the relevant suppliers/airframes, participate in source inspection. Follow-up design issues with suppliers and prepare action plan of open FAI issues. Monitor the performance of aircraft and equipment for the in-service fleet by reviewing Technical Follow Ups (TFU) and Production Review Records (PRR), in order to ensure the timely introduction of committed changes by Manufacturers and Vendors for new programmes. To evaluate requirements of stakeholders to introduce enhancements to equipment and services and prepare recommendations and/or cost analysis in liaison with other operational areas of EK in order to support the introduction of changes to aircraft specifications of future fleets. Closely liaise with other stakeholders to ensure that any approved requirements for on-board features and functionalities are met. Participate with management to negotiate technical and commercial aspects of specific changes. Continuously review regulatory requirements that are being introduced in the industry for implementation in the specifications of future fleet. Coordinate with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth introduction of new aircraft at `Transfer of Title' and entry into operation. Review delivery updates during production process for any commitment letter items that needs to be addressed with the delivery manager for each newly introduced aircraft. Conduct research and feasibility studies, provide recommendations to optimize aircraft operations and improve the passenger experience in Cabin for the introductions of the future EK fleet. Assist the project team members in preparing budget requirements for new programs and suggesting recommendations. Assist Manager Aircraft Acceptance during final cabin acceptance and various inspections, design reviews. To also carry out post airplane delivery inspection before entry into Service. Develop, assist and coach you project team members and ensure project delivery. Qualification To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably in Aeronautical Engineering and/or holder of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence. Experience of 10+ years in aircraft engineering preferably with 5 years in projects Aircraft Delivery related profession. Thorough knowledge of the latest technical developments in Airframe, Power Plant, Avionics, IFE Equipment, Cabin equipment and installations and industry trends of future changes. Job Description: - Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on concrete equipment (e.g., concrete pumps, mixers, batching systems). - Conduct routine maintenance and preventive servicing to ensure equipment performance. - Carry out overhauling of mechanical and hydraulic components, including engines, valves, and control systems. - Assist in on-site repairs and field service visits across project locations. - Maintain service records, job sheets, and follow work safety procedures. - Support senior engineers and collaborate with parts and operations teams. - Reports to Service Deputy Section Head Qualifications: - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working with concrete pumps (troubleshooting, maintenance, and overhauling) - In-depth knowledge of hydraulic systems, engines, and control circuits used in concrete machinery. - Must be currently residing in the UAE. - Valid UAE driver's license is an advantage - Must be not more than 40 years old. - Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical or related field preferred. - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. - Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive work attitude.
