Abdulwahab Al-Rustamani Group, a leading entity in the country, officially launched the Zeekr brand in the United Arab Emirates. Zeekr is a global electric mobility technology company under Geely Holding Group. This milestone marks a historic achievement for the Abdulwahab Al-Rustamani Group, which has introduced two premium electric vehicle models: the Zeekr 001 and Zeekr X, responding to the growing demand for high-end electric cars in the market. These models deliver unprecedented levels of boldness, advanced technology, exceptional luxury design, and versatile performance.
The official launch was announced during an exclusive event held on March 6 at The Gate within the Dubai International Financial Centre. The gathering provided guests with an immersive journey into limitless innovation, featuring guided experiences, live interactive demonstrations, exclusive previews, and engaging exhibits.
This strategic move strengthens the Abdulwahab Al-Rustamani Group’s position as a key player in the green mobility sector, offering electric vehicles that embody cutting-edge performance and modern technology. With its deep-rooted legacy in the UAE, the group serves as a solid foundation for Zeekr, enhancing its values, future vision, and commitment to innovation, luxury offerings, and exceptional customer service.

The award-winning Zeekr 001, recognized with four Guinness World Records in the electric vehicle category, features a powerful, fast-charging battery. This five-seater vehicle with a full electric braking system offers rapid charging—10% to 80% in just 30 minutes—and can travel up to 620 kilometers on a single charge, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds.
The Zeekr X boasts even more impressive charging capabilities, requiring only 30 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%. It delivers an outstanding range of 440 kilometers and achieves 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in just 3.8 seconds.
Both models were developed at Zeekr’s research and data center in Sweden, pushing the boundaries of design philosophy. Equipped with in-car cellular networks and ECALL functionality, these vehicles offer free internet connectivity for the first year after purchase. Additionally, Abdulwahab Al-Rustamani Group has plans to deploy ultra-fast turbine chargers that capture and store carbon emissions at strategic locations, aiming to achieve even faster charging in the future.
Zeekr electric vehicles will be available at new showrooms from Abdulwahab Al-Rustamani Group, scheduled to open in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, and Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, by the second quarter of this year. In the meantime, visitors can explore both models at a temporary showroom at Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, from March 11 to April 3, where test drive appointments can also be booked.
The starting price for the Zeekr 001 is 226,900 AED, while the Zeekr X starts at 170,900 AED.
