Toyota Crown 2023 is set to make its highly anticipated debut in Saudi Arabia, marking a new era of elegance, sophistication, and advanced technology. As a testament to its distinguished heritage, the 16th generation Crown showcases exceptional craftsmanship and delivers the dynamic driving experience it's renowned for.
The 2023 Crown raises the benchmark for luxury sedans by offering unmatched levels of performance, comfort, and safety. With a sleek and powerful exterior design, it enhances the driving experience while blending contemporary style with nostalgic charm, available with two eco-friendly engine options.
The first option is a new hybrid electric system composed of two components: a front-mounted electric motor paired with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, connected to a seven-speed direct-shift automatic transmission. At the rear, a water-cooled electric motor transmits power directly to all four wheels, ensuring responsive acceleration and smooth, consistent performance. The combined system delivers 344 horsepower and 550 Newton-meters of torque.
The second option is also a hybrid electric system featuring two electric motors and a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. This system, paired with an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (e-CVT), achieves exceptional fuel efficiency, with a consumption rate of up to 26.1 kilometers per liter, elevating the driving experience to new heights.
The Toyota Crown Hybrid can be driven entirely on electric power alone, without consuming fuel or emitting carbon emissions, or seamlessly switch between power sources from both the gasoline engine and electric motors based on speed and driving style. The hybrid batteries are continuously charged automatically—either through the gasoline engine or during braking and deceleration—eliminating the need for external charging cables or power sources. Despite its advanced technology, the Crown Hybrid requires no special fuel and operates and maintains just like any conventional vehicle.
Launched in 1955, the Toyota Crown was Toyota’s first mass-produced passenger car. Now returning with a refreshed logo, it embodies both legacy and innovation. The 2023 model combines the refined elegance of a luxury sedan, the athletic styling of a sports car, and the spaciousness of an SUV, redefining what a premium sedan can be.
The exterior design blends simplicity with modernity, highlighted by a large front grille and daytime running lights that convey bold character and confidence. The rear features long, seamless LED taillights that add visual width and a touch of luxury. Inside, every detail reflects meticulous attention—sleek metal accents, luxurious new additions, and intuitive controls. The curved instrument panel keeps the driver focused on the road, while the elevated seating position offers improved visibility and easier access.
The new Crown comes equipped with a 12.3-inch touch-sensitive multimedia display compatible with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with 12 customizable display themes, a color heads-up display (HUD) projected onto the windshield, dual-zone automatic climate control with rear vents, a 11-speaker JBL surround sound system, a panoramic sunroof, heated and power-adjustable front seats, and a 60/40 split-reclining rear seat. Additionally, the model includes hands-free power liftgate operation when your hands are full.
The new Crown features 19-inch aluminum wheels, with optional 21-inch wheels available. It is offered in seven striking exterior colors, including luxurious pearl white, premium silver, metallic gray, black, red, and bronze. Enhanced personalization is possible with multiple dual-tone combinations, such as black paired with pearl white, premium silver, metallic gray, red, or bronze. Interior color options include elegant light beige “Fromage” or classic black.
