Peugeot has announced the launch of its completely new Landtrek pickup truck, now available across the Middle East region. The introduction of the Peugeot Landtrek reaffirms the brand’s strong return to the pickup truck segment and continues its rich legacy in a category experiencing consistent growth.
The double-cab Landtrek is offered in two variants: WD2 and WD4. Customers can choose between a 150-horsepower diesel engine with a 6-speed manual transmission, or a 210-horsepower gasoline engine paired with either a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission.
The new Peugeot Landtrek stands out for its versatility, offering both x24 and 4×4 configurations in gasoline and diesel versions. It comes equipped with numerous accessories suitable for both professional and family use, and features the most spacious cabin in its class—meeting the highest demands of the Middle Eastern pickup market.
With a towing capacity of up to three tons and a load capacity exceeding one ton, the Landtrek offers the largest cargo space in its segment. For comfort, it includes innovative technologies and advanced adaptive capabilities, delivering a driving experience reminiscent of a full-size SUV.
Peugeot collaborated with top global suppliers from Europe, Japan, the United States, and other countries to develop the Landtrek, ensuring it meets the highest standards in its class. The vehicle underwent extensive testing covering over two million kilometers across diverse terrains, including various roads throughout the Middle East. These field tests were instrumental in refining the development process and validating the Landtrek’s durability and ability to meet regional customer needs.
The 4×4 model’s rear differential lock enhances traction when one wheel slips. The Borg-Warner system allows easy switching between 2-high, 4-high, and 4-low modes via a simple turn of the selector knob.
The Peugeot Landtrek 4×4 ensures comfort and confidence anywhere, anytime, thanks to these key specifications:
Water wading depth: 600 mm
Approach angle: 29° or 30° (depending on model)
Departure angle: 27° or 26° (depending on model)
Maximum climbing angle: 25°
Ground clearance: up to 235 mm (with 17-inch tires)
The Peugeot Landtrek comes with a 3-year or 100,000 km warranty and service plan, including maintenance every 10,000 km—designed to enhance reliability and reduce operational costs, which are critical factors for pickup truck buyers.
