Peugeot announced the delivery of the Peugeot E-Partner, the first fully electric light commercial vehicle (LCV) in the UAE, through Omair Bin Yousuf & Sons, the local Peugeot dealer in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, to EMOB, a sustainability services company based in Abu Dhabi.
EMOB is the first LCV customer for Peugeot in Abu Dhabi, specializing in fast and convenient mobile electric vehicle charging services. The Peugeot E-Partner was selected after a comprehensive market study on electric vehicles, due to its exceptional performance and environmental friendliness, making it the ideal vehicle for their operations.
In line with Peugeot’s and its local dealer Omair Bin Yousuf & Sons’ commitment to sustainability, the company has adopted a more environmentally conscious approach in manufacturing its vehicle lineup by launching fully electric light commercial vehicles, including the E-Partner and E-Expert, across Gulf markets. This positions Peugeot as the only manufacturer offering this category of fully electric light commercial vehicles in the region. Adopting such electric commercial vehicles in urban areas and communities brings significant benefits, including reduced noise pollution, zero emissions, and no fuel-related odors—contributing positively to users’ lifestyles and their surroundings.
The handover ceremony for the Peugeot E-Partner was attended by Mr. Mubarak Al Mansoori, co-founder of EMOB; Mr. Ahmed Abd al-Munim, Sales Supervisor at Peugeot Abu Dhabi; Mr. Frédéric Vimal, a senior executive at Stellantis Middle East; along with several representatives from both companies.
As part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability and the expansion of electric mobility services, EMOB plans to further integrate additional Peugeot electric vehicles into its fleet alongside the Peugeot E-Partner.
The fully electric Peugeot E-Partner is designed for optimal performance, with a battery range of up to 285 kilometers on a single charge. It is available in two variants: standard and extended. The extended model offers enhanced capabilities, including a towing capacity of up to 750 kg, a payload of up to 800 kg, and a cargo volume of up to 4.4 cubic meters.
Equipped with advanced technologies such as the PEUGEOT digital i-Cockpit®, the E-Partner delivers an improved driving experience. Built on the EMP2 platform, it ensures smoother handling, features an electric motor delivering 100 kilowatts of power and 260 newton-meters of torque, and comes with a high-voltage 50 kWh battery enabling rapid charging—fully recharging in just five hours using an 11 kW charger.
Designed to meet diverse operational needs, the Peugeot E-Partner combines compact exterior dimensions with maximum load capacity. Beyond its elegant and practical design, the vehicle offers multiple driving modes to suit various requirements. Safety and comfort are prioritized, with advanced driver assistance systems and integrated in-vehicle connectivity features.
