Nissan X-Trail 2023 Unveiled in Middle East

Updated 02:40 PM,Mar 12,2023

Nissan has launched the completely new 2023 X-Trail in the Middle East, reinforcing its leadership in the crossover SUV segment as the latest addition to its distinguished lineup. This new model is designed as a luxurious and modern crossover that challenges convention with its striking new design, enhanced capabilities, and innovative technologies.

Building on a legacy spanning over two decades, the fourth-generation model delivers a premium driving experience tailored to evolving customer needs. It blends an elegant interior cabin with high practicality for everyday use. The new X-Trail is ideal for adventure seekers and represents the most technologically advanced version yet, equipped with Nissan’s latest intelligent mobility features to ensure driver and passenger safety and connectivity.

The front fascia stands out with sleek, integrated headlights that seamlessly blend into the bumper structure, complemented by daytime running lights that extend along the hood’s edge. The distinctive side profile is highlighted by bold wheel arches and sculpted door panels, giving the X-Trail a commanding presence on the road.

At the rear, a prominent horizontal line appears directly above and below the trunk, while split taillights give the vehicle a wider, more robust appearance. A curved silver panel beneath the rear bumper reinforces the model’s adventurous character.

Inside, premium materials and smart features come together to create a sophisticated, functional space. The seats feature zero-gravity-inspired design with high-quality semi-aniline leather upholstery. The top-tier SL trim includes genuine Napa leather seats with intricate three-dimensional diamond stitching, adding a touch of luxury for all passengers. New ambient white lighting illuminates every corner of the cabin, while a privacy film on the rear windows allows full control over natural light—both enhancing the sleek center console design and the integrated dual cup holders.

The X-Trail boasts multiple cutting-edge technologies, positioning it as a leader among mid-size SUVs. The most advanced models feature a 35.4-inch multi-display setup, including a 12.3-inch TFT driver assistance display, a 12.3-inch touch screen, and the largest windshield display in its class at 10.8 inches. Paired with a BOSE audio system featuring 10 speakers, Android Auto, and wireless Apple CarPlay® support, the infotainment experience is fully immersive.

Nissan’s one-touch rear seat access system includes a rear seat that slides 40/20/40, significantly increasing cabin flexibility and passenger comfort. Additionally, the unique standard cargo tray can be adjusted in 16 different configurations, allowing vertical or horizontal storage, while dedicated side storage compartments accommodate smaller items.

When the rear seats are not in use, the luggage compartment offers a spacious 585 liters—thanks to the best-in-class floor length and wide wheelbase. These enhancements make loading and organizing cargo easier than ever, especially small-sized items.

The new PR25 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine delivers 181 horsepower—12 more than the previous model—and increases torque by 11 Nm to 244 Nm, improving acceleration and boosting confidence during driving.

Advanced safety features under Nissan Intelligent Mobility enhance the X-Trail’s already strong performance, making this version the safest in its class. The Safety Shield 360 suite includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot warning, reverse alert, lane departure prevention, and high-beam assist.

Beyond Safety Shield 360, the new X-Trail comes equipped with Nissan’s innovative Driver Alertness Monitor and Smart Vision Surround View System with moving object detection.

It also features ProPILOT Assist, a user-friendly semi-autonomous driver assistance system that provides greater support across various driving conditions, reducing driver fatigue and helping maintain lane position.

ProPILOT Assist can accelerate or decelerate within a single lane on highways. It maintains a set speed and automatically slows down to a complete stop during repeated traffic stops. The system resumes operation automatically if the vehicle stops for less than three seconds and the car ahead begins moving again.

The 2023 X-Trail reflects Nissan’s latest design direction—the fourth generation of its crossover SUV lineup, now bearing the brand’s newest logo following Patrol, PathFinder, and Kicks. The 2023 X-Trail is available today through Nissan’s dealer network across the Middle East.
